Target Automotive Inc. – Boston, MA

NOTE: A minimum of 5 years retail sales experience is required, specifically relating to Automotive Industry, Automotive Marketing, Automotive Agency and/or Automotive Media Sales. Submissions that do not meet this minimum requirement will not be considered. This is a remote field position serving the greater Boston and New England markets. Ideal candidate will be located in the greater Boston area, Rt128 or Rt495 loop

The Regional Sales Director (RSD) will prospect, sell and close new clients for a fast-paced high-growth marketing company that serves the automotive industry with emphasis on F&I Departments solutions, Reinsurance and Aftermarket Products. RSDs are responsible for increasing revenue within an assigned region and developing and managing a pipeline of qualified Tier 3 new business and existing opportunities using a consultative sales methodology. RSDs must possess a passion for the hunt! From prospecting to close, RSDs tackle heavy cold calling, research and discovery, sales presentations and the close; working closely with the Regional VP of Sales and President. Competitive compensation package includes salary, excellent commission and benefits. RSDs who excel in developing and closing new business are generously rewarded. Target compensation $100K-$150K annually. Regional Sales Directors are expected to produce new targeted marketing sales to meet assigned quotas.

• Extensive travel required (75%-80%) with 3-4 weeks per month of regional travel (Mon-Thurs) and an average of one week per month in home market
• Prospect targeted dealerships within assigned territory
• Conduct prospect research and discovery
• Present face-to-face sales presentations
• Create and manage business plan to maximize revenue opportunities
• Meet or exceed assigned, monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue sales quota goals
• Set and manage expectations with new clients
• Participate in continuing education calls and/or meetings on products and services
• Keep up-to-date on automotive industry, market news and events
• Develop relationships with OEM market representatives
• Must learn and become fully knowledgeable on all company products and service solutions within the first 90 days
• Must be able to work well as a team player and independently
• Must strive to maintain and uphold all internal processes and procedures
• Must take own initiative to improve tasks and meet company goals
• Must work well under pressure
• Must be detail oriented, punctual and have a professional demeanor

• BA or BS degree, preferred
• Strong working knowledge of automotive dealership operations
• Excellent dealership relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
